Use this text tool to find the difference between two lists or texts by comparing each line. With this tool, you can identify the similarities and the difference between the two. It's very useful when comparing the old and the new version of your text document.
Indicators are color-coded.
■ Green (Inserted) - means that the line exists in Column B but not in Column A.
■ Red (Deleted) - means that the line exists in Column A but not in Column B.
■ Yellow (Different) - means that both lines exist in Column A and Column B, but the content is different.
Note: The different indicator (yellow) is not available in the “Display Inline” comparison.
Difference Checker is powered by diff library. A module that provides classes and functions for comparing sequences.
